5.1. Print files must comply with the instructions in the FAQ section (format, CMYK colour space, resolution, bleed). If the files do not comply with these instructions, the Provider may adjust them by agreement with the Customer at the price according to the price list.
5.2. The Provider does not check the content or linguistic accuracy of the files. The Customer is responsible for the content of the supplied files and for ensuring that their use does not infringe the rights of third parties (in particular copyright in photos, fonts and graphics).
5.3. For graphic work and custom orders, the Provider sends a preview (proof). The work is produced after the Customer approves it; the approved preview is binding for the appearance of the work.
5.4. For technological reasons, printed colours may differ slightly from their appearance on a monitor, and PANTONE colours cannot always be reproduced exactly. Such deviations are not a defect.
5.5. The Provider takes the Customer's artwork entrusted for framing or reproduction (painting, photo, print, embroidery, object, etc.) into its care and handles it with professional care. On handover, the parties may record the condition of the artwork; the Provider will note any visible damage the artwork already has. If the value of the artwork exceeds €2,000, the Customer shall inform the Provider in advance so that special conditions (e.g. insurance) can be agreed.
5.6. When sending the artwork, the Customer bears the risk of transport to the Provider; the Provider recommends insuring the artwork or using the packaging supplied by the Provider.
5.7. Any delay by the Customer in providing files, artwork or cooperation extends the deadline for completing the work by the length of that delay.
5.8. Frame mouldings are often made of natural wood and hand-finished. Slight differences in grain, shade and texture compared with a sample or a photo on the website, as well as a dimensional deviation of up to ±2 mm, are not a defect. Previews in the calculator are for illustration only.
